What is VALKYRIES?Valkyries is a BNHA femslash event with dark romance elements, celebrating the strong female characters of the manga and anime Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia).The concepts will be on the more mature end of the spectrum, however, both SFW and NSFW will be present and tagged accordingly.

As of now, Valkyries will be an invite-only zine! Therefore, we won't host any applications.What format will this zine be?
Valkyries 2023 will be a free digital zine, i.e. it'll be available everywhere as a pdf via Gdrive download.When will this zine be released?
The release date of our zine will be in December 2023.Who are the Mods of the event?
This event is run by binks and assisted by JajaLala who are both eager to shine some light on BNHA's female characters.

We will feature both written pieces as well as page art, including spreads, spot illustrations and comics. On top, we hope to offer digital merch as well.Will there be an AO3 collection where we can comment and kudo?

You have been chosen as a contributor to Valkyries 2023, a femslash zine centered around dark romance elements. What was an event week in 2022 is scheduled to return as a free digital zine for 2023.I'd be delighted to have you on board for this journey! You can find more general info on this carrd as well as below for a more thorough FAQ and a detailed schedule.What ships are allowed?
All F/F ships from the manga/anime series BNHA!What kinds of works are allowed?
You are free to create SFW, NSFW or Dark works as long as they're properly tagged.Will there be Minors on the project?
No! We will have ourselves a little grown-up party, think like a pyjama party for 5 months!Are AUs allowed?
Absolutely! Canon Compliant, Canon Divergent as well as complete AUs are welcome!Can I do more than one piece?
Writers can do up to two pieces with a combined length of 5'000 words and artists are free to do 2 individual pieces, one spread or a comic (up to 4 pages).
Spot Illustrations on top are optional as well as the choice of creating digital merch like phone wallpapers, discord emotes, etc.You can also opt-out from individual pieces and instead focus entirely on spot illustrations!Do I need a Discord account?
Yes, all of the communication will happen on a server as well as the distribution of pitch sheets, check-in links and so on.
